Box End Winter 2013-14
Box End Winter 2013-14 These races are an ideal opportunity for you to keep competitive and on the edge during the Winter season.The final race of the series took part on 26th January 2014.
The race format is as follows:Â Duathlon: 7.5km Run, 11.25km Bike, 3.75km Run
The kayak Tri: 2.5km Kayak, 11.25km Bike, 7.5KM Run

RACE 3Â -The third and final race of the Box End Winter Series was held on Sunday 26th January. Â A very cold wet and windy day and a huge well done to the 5 athletes that braved the weather! Well Done to Duncan Pearson who won 1.56, Caspar Zoeftig was just behind in 2.02, but congratulations go to Caspar won the Box End Series, best of all three races!

RACE 2 -The second race of the Box End Winter Series was held on Sunday 15th December. 29 took part in the Duathlon, congratulations to winnners 1st male Johnathon Hoggart 1.19.58, and first female Alison Cooper 1.45.47. In the Kayak Tri their were 7 athletes. Tom Stead was back in action and won the event convincingly in 1.19.59. with 2nd place going to female Gill Fullen 1.33.00 … a superb day for great winter training!
RACE 1 – The first of the Box End Winter Series went ahead on Sunday. The three-race series consists of a Duathlon and a Kayak Tri, both events are held at Box End Water Ski Park in Kempston. 20 athletes took part in the Duathlon well done to winners David Course 1st male in 1.26.33 and Zoe Smith first female 1.45.50. In the Kayak Tri their were 8 athletes. Congratulations to winner Duncan Pearson 1.32.59, BQA member who is starting his training ready for the 2014 season well done! First female Cathy Johnson 1.49.46 … great winter training to all athletes!
