COVID-19 Update

As you will all have noticed so many events have been cancelled, marathons, triathlons and unfortunately we also have to register the first cancellations of planned WQF World Cups: – Terceria (POR), 26.04.2020, Kretinka (CZE), 13.06.2020, Olso (NOR), 22.08.2020.

BQA Events cancelled Dearne Valley Quad (GB) 14.06.2020

The BQA supports all our Quadrathlon events in the UK, but each event is organized by a local promoter, and they will dictate the out come of their race regarding Covid-19, following our Government Rules. We ask for all BQA members and Quadrathletes to support our organizers and respect their decisions.

This is very sad news and I’ve seen many posts of disappointment, but stand back and observe what you’ve achieved in your training, training is never a waste it has made us stronger physically and stronger mentally and gets us ready for our next challenge. Look to move forwards knowing that you’ve more time to train, more time to get stronger and fitter, look for the positives, every swim, kayak bike or run is about why we do it, for our minds and our bodies not for just for the races …. its all part of the the journey ….. the race is just the bonus! Stay safe, take care …. we will come through of this!

The BQA adhere to WQF Rules and British Triathlon guidelines, the latest news on the situation here in the UK is below and will be updated regularly. For your information –
